I. Translation orders

  • You can send me the request or order by email. I will endeavour to confirm acceptance of the order in the same way, possibly immediately or on the same day.
  • So that I can plan my working time sensibly, I always ask you to contact me by phone beforehand.

II. Deadlines and conditions

  • In the case of regular translations, 8-10 pages per day can be assumed as an approximate value for planning the translation deadline.
  • I always produce and deliver the translations on time – as far as possible. However, if unforeseeable circumstances arise, I will contact the client immediately to find a solution that is satisfactory for both parties.
  • All translations are carried out by me with the utmost care and to the best of my knowledge and belief, with my best language and specialist knowledge, and using the latest technical resources.

III. Billing

  • All prices are negotiated individually depending on the scope, type and deadline of the order. The prices are gross prices. If you wish, I will be happy to prepare a non-binding offer for you.
  • The prices are calculated on a word basis (source text), line basis (60 characters including spaces) or page basis. A standard page is: 250 words = 30 lines = 1800 characters including spaces.
  • Interpreting orders can be billed on an hourly or daily basis, whereby the exact price depends on, for example, travel, accommodation and meals.
    • Payments must be made within 21 days of receipt of the invoice at the latest. All information required for billing can be obtained at the following address:
